2004 statistics
showed approximately 1 in 2 households own a pet. Dogs make up 21.1% of this which amounts to approximately 6.8 Million Dogs in the UK in 2004.
Latest figures show that the pet market has increased by a
staggering 30% over the last 6 years. It is now worth an estimated £3.8bn, and if this growth continues it is predicted to reach £4.26bn in 2010.
The need for services to the home will keep
growing with more couples working full time and wanting their spare time to be with the family unit, and also the share convenience of it all.
